Tree of Life Meditation

One of the clients I work with yesterday brought in a picture of the Tree of Life represented by the “Respiratory Tree" and the Tree of Knowledge represented by the Cerebellum Tree. I was reminded again of how perfectly created the Divine Source designed the human body. Today’s meditation was on the Tree of Life.

Begin by sitting in a comfortable position on the floor (or better yet outside on Mother Earth). Consciously concentrate upon your mind through your deep breathing in and out. Relax and begin to focus only upon your breath.

Slowly bring your attention to the base of your spine. Allow your focus to settle there for5 deep breathes. Visualize your spine rooting itself down into the Mother Earth. Rooting and anchoring itself deeply into the rich, dark soil. Feel the coolness of the Earth beneath the surface as the root embeds itself deeper and deeper into the Earth.

With each deep breath in allow your roots to go deeper through the layers of water deep beneath the surface and into the core of the Earth. The molten fire that sparks all of creation. Allow any thoughts or sensations to just flow in and out as your root feels the warmth of the molten layer.

Allow the creative fire energy to be drawn up from the very heart of Mother Earth. Feel the warmth blaze through the root of your spine purifying with fire and water your complete energy system . With each deep breath in draw it fully up within your own energy centers allowing a moment for it to settle into your root chakra connecting the center of the Earth with your own root energy center.

Take a deep breath and draw the energy further blazing any impurities away as it spirals upward to your Sacral chakra. Fee the fire incite the fire of your passion and creativity. Feel the energy pulsing.

Deep breaths in as you feel the spiraling fiery energy move into your Solar Plexus. Allow it to incite the fire of your personal power center. Allow it to fully charge the center.

Deep breath again feeling the volcanic larva spiral up into your heart chakra. Feel the purging of all impurities as it sets fire to your loving energy center. Allow it to flood through you, encompassing you.

Again any thoughts or sensations simply allow them to free flow in and out of your consciousness, drawing your focus back to the larva flooding through you.

Feel the spiral push upwards into the throat chakra. All the words left unspoken purged in the heat of the fire leaving the energy center free to speak truth from the passion of the heart.

Deep breath inward as the spiral pushes upwards into the brow chakra removing the veils that cloud and restoring your sight.

As the fire spirals upwards into the crown chakra, feel it burst completely into the tree of knowledge allowing it to center there. Take a deep breath in and release it feeling the warmth of intuition flood you.

The spiral pushes up and out of the top of the crown chakra like branches reaching up to the sunlight. Notice the thoughts and feelings, but allow them to completely flow through you, always returning your focus onto the fire that runs from the center of Mother Earth to your branches that stretch upwards connecting you to the Divine Source.

Taking a few deep breaths in and out feeling the deep rooted connection beneath and above. Your anchor and center below while branches bask in the light of the Divine Source.



When you are ready, take a deep breath – hold it for a moment and release. Open your eyes slowly to return to the physical world .
